Flying a seaplane sounds complicated, but Fire Flush keeps it simple and addictive. You play as Scruffy the firefighting dog, and your job is to scoop water from lakes and dump it on raging wildfires before they spread out of control. The controls are straightforward — fly over water to fill your tank, then position yourself above the flames and release. The trick is managing your water supply while the fire keeps spreading.

Every level throws more fires at you, and the blaze moves faster than you might expect. You need to prioritize which fires to hit first — the ones closest to the forest edges are usually the biggest threat. If you let too many trees burn, the mission fails.

• Arrow keys / WASD — Steer the seaplane in any direction
• Spacebar — Release water over a fire
• Low altitude over water — Automatically refills your water tank
• The plane handles with a slight drift, so anticipate your turns rather than steering at the last second

Getting Comfortable with the Plane

The seaplane has momentum, which means you can't stop on a dime. Practice wide banking turns early on. Coming in too steep wastes time because you overshoot the fire and have to circle back. Smooth, shallow approaches let you line up your drop perfectly on the first pass.

Prioritize Fast-Spreading Fires

Not all flames are equal. Fires at the edge of the forest spread to new trees quickly, while fires surrounded by already-burned area are basically contained. Hit the perimeter fires first every time.

Master the Water Scoop

You refill automatically when you skim the lake surface, but you don't need a full tank to put out a small fire. A partial load is enough for spot fires, so don't waste time filling up completely if there's a nearby blaze that needs immediate attention.

Upgrade Smart

Between missions you can upgrade your plane. Water capacity and speed are the two most impactful early upgrades. Skip the aesthetic stuff until your core stats are solid.

• Fly low and level over lakes — steep dives waste time

• Refill preemptively before heading toward a large cluster of fires
• Don't chase single flames when a cluster is growing unchecked
