Getting Started

This is a side-scrolling strategy action game where you lead an army of stick figures against enemy forces. You build units, mine gold, and command troops to destroy the opposing statue while defending your own. Think of it like a simplified real-time strategy game drawn in stick figure art.

Controls

  • Mouse click — Select and command units, interact with buildings
  • WASD / Arrow Keys — Move your selected unit
  • Spacebar — Attack with the selected unit
  • Click a miner to send them to the gold mine for resources

You can individually control any unit on the field by clicking it, which gives you direct movement and attack control. Mastering this micro-management separates decent players from great ones.

Army Building Strategies

  • Start every match by training miners immediately. Gold is the backbone of your war effort — without a strong economy, you cannot field a proper army
  • Swordwrath units are cheap and effective for early aggression. Sending a few early can pressure the enemy while you build up
  • Archidons provide ranged support behind your frontline. Keep them protected by melee units
  • Save Giants for late-game pushes. They are expensive but devastating against fortified positions
  • Speartons with shields create a strong defensive wall. Pair them with archers for a balanced formation

Wave Management

Pay attention to the enemy statue's health. Right before you destroy it, the AI sends a massive desperate wave as a last resort. Many players get caught off guard and lose their entire army to this final push. Keep reserves back or have your statue defenses ready.

Economy Tips

  • Aim for roughly 8 miners working simultaneously for a strong income flow
  • Do not spend all your gold at once. Keep a reserve for emergency unit spawns when the enemy pushes
  • Upgrade your miners when possible to increase gold collection speed

FAQ

What happens when the enemy sends a last-resort wave?

The AI triggers a massive assault when their statue health drops low. Expect a flood of high-tier units. Keep defensive units near your statue and avoid overcommitting your entire army to the offensive push.

Should I manually control units or let the AI handle them?

Manual control is almost always better for key units. A player-controlled Swordwrath can dodge giant attacks using jump strikes, dealing damage while staying safe. Let basic units auto-fight but micro your important ones.

How do I counter enemy giants?

Use ranged units like Archidons to chip away at giants from a distance. Alternatively, manually control a melee unit and use hit-and-run jump attacks to dodge the giant's slow but powerful swings.
